Tips to treat depression

Depression, is a state of depressed, feeling sad, worried, unhappy over a period of time which affects persons health and behavior. It may result in poor concentration, insomnia, and even suicidal thoughts too.It is not necessary to be a psychatric disorder, it is common in everyone of us, but for some it is persistent.

Causes for depression
1. Failures.
2. Death of loved ones
3. Conflicts.
4. Disappointments
5. Alcohol and drug abuse.
6. Sleeping problems
7. Social isolation
8. Psychological problems

Treatment for Depression
1. Sleep well and follow it regularly.
2. Follow diets
3. Exercise regularly
4. Avoid alcohol and other recreational drugs.
5. Practice Yoga, meditation etc.
6. If depression is persistent without any reason, without consulting doctor do not follow any prescription like antidepressants, warfarin, digoxin,etc.

Above all, follow this mantra ..." Don't worry be happy always",,,,life is short and everything is for a while...so enjoy it without any rules!
