Tips to treat anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling of stress and fear which makes you to be in uneasiness and uncomfortable. Stress can come from any situation, the way we face it determines the anxiety.  

Causes for Anxiety

1.  Anxiety may be due to as a result of certain drugs such as ADHD, Alcohol, Amphetamines Bronchodilators for asthma, Caffeine, Cocaine, Cold remedies, Decongestants Diet pills, Nicotine, Thyroid medications, tricyclic antidepressant.

2. Poor diet which leads to low level of vitamin B12  contributes to stress or anxiety.

3. Posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) develops after situation like war, physical or sexual assault, taking a test or any public presentation.


4. Generalized anxiety disorder, for people who feel for something half of a day for nearly six months.


5. Panic disorder or panic attacks can lead to unexplained fear, rapid breathing and increased heartbeat.

6. For some rarely due to tumor of the adrenal gland (pheochromocytoma) may lead to anxiety or stress.


Treatment for Anxiety
1. Instead of worrying a lot for doing something wrong, try to identify the source and correct your mistake from next day onwards and move on with great spirits. Always think everything will be okay. 


2. Share your feeling may be your stress or happiness, share it with the one who is close to your heart, one of the best way to overcome anxiety.

3. Some healthy ways to overcome stress are,
  • Have a balanced diet regularly.
  • Regular enough sleep.
  • Fitness workouts.
  • Avoid alcohols.
  • Do not go for recreational drugs which makes you to feel relaxed and happy. It will be for a while.
  • Relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga, gym workout etc.
  • Have a break in your regular usual life. Go out for any vacation with your family and enjoy.
  • Divert your mind in any entertainments or any other works you love to do it.
