Bladder stones, a hard concretion made of minerals found in urinary bladder. It is also can be referred as cystolithiasis. When dehydration in your body is more, the minerals like calcium or magnesium crystalizes and forms bladder stones. There can be one or more stones. You can feel the symptoms as when the size of stone starts increasing! Here are some symptoms, treatments available and to prevent bladder stones.
Symptoms of Bladder stones:
- Difficult in urinating.
- Blood stains in urine
- Abdominal pain.
- Frequent urination.
- Fever
Treatment for Bladder stones
1. Immediate medical attention is needed. When the size is small, it can be treated with medicine and drinking more liquids daily, but when it is bigger, it will be removed through surgery.
2. Drinking more amount of liquid will help the stone to pass through urine itself!
3. Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), a treatment which uses ultrasonic waves to break the stones.
4. To stay away from bladder stones, drink plenty of fluid, do not control urination, and have more juice which include citrate daily to reduce the risk of bladder stones!
